“Pressing Issues”
Today we interviewed Clint Stevens from the Galveston Municipal Police Association. The GMPA was invited to speak at a special workshop at city hall but did not get the opportunity to present. Some issued the police are having include being understaffed, underfunded, overworked, backlogged, and not having a great benefits package. According to the GMPA these issues are what lead to retention issues within the police department. Thank you to our boys in blue and the Galveston Municipal Police Association for accepting our invitation for this interview!!
